EXACTLY!
And funny that they claim the reason they have Chase Daniel is because "he is a 10 year veteran who can really help Mitchell prepare for games..."
Um yes. Chase Daniels has been an NFL quarterback for 10 years. BUT he has started a total of 4 NFL games over the course of those 10 years and has a whopping 4 career touch passes vs. 3 interceptions. He is a career back-up. What sort of words of sage advise does he have to give???
Mitchell Trubisky has started 28 NFL games and would actually be better at helping Chase Daniel prepare for games. LOL

Maybe he helps by letting Trubisky know that he is secure in his job, so he doesn't have to keep looking over his shoulder after a bad performance.

I can do that job! I'll take those wages! Back-up quarterback in the NFL. Best job in America. Get paid millions to wear a baseball cap and hold a clip board. Your biggest risk for injury might be hemorrhoids from sitting so long on the bench.

Until suddenly, your starting quarterback tears his ACL after an innocuous play when you are up by 20 points towards the end of the third quarter, and end up losing in ot after you throw an interception that is carried to the house by the heaviest defensive tackle in the league.

If you are up by 20 points at the end of the third quarter and the head coach is asking the back-up quarterback to be passing the ball around - then your team has bigger problems. Run, run, run, punt, defend. Run, run, run, punt defend. And pray the clock moves fast!

Unless you are the Falcons in Superbowl 51 with Matt Ryan as the quarterback.

I've watched it a few times, and still can't figure out how they did it. For me, one telling bit came when the Falcons were up by a lot, and one of their players on the sideline clearly believed that the Patriots were NOT out of the game, though they were down by a lot. I really don't think that that sort of thinking is good. You should be thinking of how to keep your foot down.
Another, not so bad one was the Seahawks final drive in Superbowl 49, I know what they were thinking, but why were they thinking that way? Teams that play the Patriots in the Superbowl seem to overthink things and go stupid.

Probably the best starter/back-up combos in recent memory
Packers: Brett Favre starter - Aaron Rogers back-up
49ers: Joe Montana starter - Steve Young back-up

Baseball, hockey, basketball all have best of seven finals.
Coaches for some reason DO overthink things as you say in the Super Bowl or conference championship. They forget all of the things that got them to that point during the regular season and panic and switch gears in the big game because its win you are in / lose you go home.
Belichick is an exception because of all the experience he has. As much as I dislike the Pats I have to respect that Belichick always stays true to his mission statement. Whether they are winning, losing, playing a game against a winless team or playing down three touchdowns in the Super Bowl. He is exactly the same guy with exactly the same game plan.

Philadelphia v. Green Bay tonight @ Lambeau
Lets hope the Eagles can find a way to hand the Packers their first loss of the season. Eagles are pretty banged up though, their two top receivers Alshon Jeffrey and Desean Jackson are both likely to not suit up.

Not sure who I want to win this one, I suppose I'm with you on both points; it would be better if the Eagles won but, are they in a fit state to.

I'm also expecting the Packers to win but it would be good if they didn't.

Skip Bayless has just said that Bill Belichick is on the clock with the Patriots, and could be on his way out. He said, and I quote "The coach [Belichick] is about to be fired."
