Slasher: Solstice Monday, 28th October, at 11pm. New series, just in time for Halloween. An anthology series featuring serial killers. Stars; Dean McDermott, Joanne Vanicola, and Paula Brancati, amongst others. Will give it a go. Its a bit similar to American Horror Story in that each season is a story arc that runs through the entire 8 episode series (girl returns to childhood home where she hasn't been since a series of grisly Halloween murders when she was a little girl, kids at a summer camp getting up to mischief and then dispatched by a slasher, hedonistic party gone bad).
And like AHS, there are cast members that appear in each season/series, playing a different character in a different storyline.
Its good if you like the genre.

Well, that was interesting. From Scary Movie on the other channel to the more serious stuff. I'm going to enjoy this for the next few nights. Pity it finishes at 1am. Can't stay up that late, so I won't know who the slasher is. Unless I visit IMDB.

MacGyver finishes on Thursday. The current series that is. I've enjoyed this, it's nice to see the character working with a team. Hope they show the rest of the series.

Delicious: Tuesday 26th November, at 10pm.
It's been on Sky. Stars Emilia Fox, Dawn French and Iain Glenn. I don't know much about the storyline, but saw the trailer last night, and it looked good. Will be watching.

Instinct.
Alan Cumming plays a former CIA operative who has made a life for himself as a college professor and writer, but is drawn back to his previous life. I have heard of this but don't know if it is any good. It gets 6.6 on IMDB.
Airs from Wednesday 8 January at 9.00.

Enjoyed the first episode of Instinct. Similar to Perception in that one of the main characters is very observant and notes more details than the police officer, but in Instinct he's more likeable. Looking forward to next Wednesday's offering.

I enjoyed it too. I really liked Perception and agree it did have a feel of that show. I always felt that the agent in that show was rather miscast as she looked about 12 and these two seem a good fit. I like that the professor is gay and married, which is unusual for the male lead.

The Truth About the Harry Quebert Affair
A new mini series starting on Pick on Thursday 26 March at 9.00
This is based on an apparently mega selling European novel by swiss author Joel Dicker. Marcus Goldman is a rich, famous but blocked author who visits his former college professor, Harry Quebert on whose property is discovered the 33 year old corpse of a 15 year old with whom, it becomes apparent, Quebert had had an affair. Marcus decides to clear Harry's name and is offered a multi .illion dollar advance for a book on the subject. It stars Patrick Dempsey.

This sounds interesting. I am not familiar with the "Epix" channel. I will have to see if my cable provider offers it, hopefully as a free channel and not subscription.
I love murder mysteries in quirky little towns full of eccentric characters and dark, long buried secrets.
