Saw the trailer last night. Am a fan of Patrick Dempsey, so will be watching. Haven't heard of his costar Ben Shnetzer, though.

I have just seen a trailer for this and now realise that Patrick Dempsey is the guy from Grey's Anatomy. I was expecting Bobby Ewing!

The Good Doctor
Starts Wednesday 8th at 9pm. I believe this was on SKY. Saw the trailer last night, not my cup of tea, so will not be watching.

The Good Doctor.
Well much to my surprise I enjoyed this first episode so will continue watching. Nice to see Hill Harper from one of the CSI shows back on screen.

Merlin Starts Monday (4th) at 8pm.
Pick are showing the BBC series of a few years ago. I didn't watch from the start, so am looking forward to this. It was halfway through the series when I started watching.

I’m bingeing on Elementary at the moment. I absolutely love it!

I've tried Elementary several times, but just can't get into it. Like the actors, just doesn't do it for me.

I also like Elementary a lot. I missed Merlin first time round but may give it a go now I would recognise some of the actors in it. I think I rather dismissed it for some reason.

I tried Merlin when it was on BBC1. To be fair, I wasn’t expecting to like it (not into witches and wizards) but I do like some of the actors in it. Unfortunately, it didn’t do it for me, so stopped watching after two episodes.

Merlin.
I didn't realise there were 65 episodes in this so don't know how long I shall last. It has very good IMDB comments though. I have to say I was unaware that the halter neck dress was in fashion in the Dark Ages!

I was quite a fan of Merlin when it was on BBC1, but I wouldn't go so far as to watch it again (the Beeb seem to have put all 65 episodes on iPlayer). It was a family show aired early on Saturday evenings, and some well-known names dropped in and out as the seasons progressed.. There are quite a few anachronisms which need overlooking if one is to get into the spirit of it (and there was a "lively" thread on the old BBC messageboard, where the show's detractors eagerly paraded any they'd found, such as "they couldn't have had tomatoes, they're a new world fruit only brought to Europe in the 16th century").
I also enjoyed Elementary, when it was on the old Sky Living channel (now Sky Witness). In fact I thought it was superior to the BBC's Sherlock. The creators of Sherlock were furious when Elementary started, and threatened to sue for pinching their ideas - fortunately (in my opinion) they didn't prevail.

Blood and Treasure

An antiquities expert teams up with an art thief to catch a terrorist who funds his attacks using stolen artifacts. Stars: Matt Barr, Sofia Pernas and James Callister. Haven't heard of any of the actors, but will give it a go.
