As of Wednesday (18th) Pick will be closing down, and SKY mix will take it's place. From a very hurried look it's mostly Pick progs with a few from SKY thrown in. On Thursday (19th) A Discovery of Witches is starting.

Anthology series of police investigations and the personal secrets of those involved. Stars: Vince Vaughn, Colin Farrell, Matthew McConaughy and Woody Harrelson. Saw the trailer a few nights ago, will be giving it a try.

Stars Queen Latifah as Robyn McCall, a former CIA operative, who uses her skills to fight crime. I enjoyed the Denzel Washington films. Also starring Chris Noth and Adam Goldberg. Have seen the trailer, will be watching.

I forgot to set the recorder but spotted that after the first five minutes, luckily. I really enjoyed this, and I was never a fan of the original. I thought QL played it with a nice light touch which surprised me as I thought it might be a bit more all guns blazing vigilante! Of course it may get darker as the series progresses. Is this a one off series or did they make more?
