The responses have been very funny, putting Charles Moore in his place.

I just read Olivia Coleman was in Hot Fuzz. I don't remember her in it. I do remember her in Midsomer Murders where she played one of the creepiest reveals I've ever seen. ETA: Of course she was! She played the policewoman! It's because that part is so unlike anything else she has played that I forget it's her.

What the heck is she talking about in that tweet? Controversial yes. Complicated, no! There was nothing complicated about her. She knew what she wanted and she set out to get it. And sod the rest of us in the process.

Anyone watching series three? Although I watched series 1 and 2 awhile ago I decided to rewatch them and then go straight into the new series. I don’t mind Olivia Coleman although she looks a lot older than Clare Foy. Can’t remember how many years are supposed to have passed since the second series , I’ve watched two of the new series and haven’t seen the ‘children ‘ yet so I don’t know if the age change seems reasonable. My main criticism is that the actor playing Prince Philip seems to be doing the stereotypical impersonation of Prince Charles rather than playing Philip. Loving The portrayal of Harold Wilson. The story seems to be going very slowly at this rate I don’t think we’ll get very far if there are only 10 episodes. Anyone know if any more series are planned?

I'm still enjoying it but there was no mention of Anne's kidnap attempt! Surely that would warrant part of an episode. I think season 3 run until '77. Jason Watkins was so good, I loved when he was telling the Queen the limirick, "you've made it this far.". And I thought Josh O'Connor was amazing at Prince Charles, he gets him spot on. There is a season 4, I heard they were filming it back to back so there shouldn't be so long a wait between seasons. Season 4 will introduce Princess Diana and Gillian Anderson as Margaret Thatcher, with it going through the Falklands and Miners Strike. No mention of who'll be playing Prince Andrew. I also heard it was going to talk the timeline to 1990. But that seems a long timeline from 77-90 when you consider everything that happened. How can they fit it all into 10eps, probably why something like Anne's kidnap attempt make it, maybe 2-3 more episodes a season or a short timeline. I also read that season 5 will be a change of cast again, with Imedla Stauton taking over the Queen role. Not sure how accurate that is though.

I'm enjoying it but have only watched 4 episodes so far, therefore still in 1967 and haven't got to them not covering the Princess Anne kidnap attempt. I don't always like Jason Watkins but he is very good in this - he's got Harold Wilson down to a tee, especially the accent. I liked the limerick scene too - that episode must have had an 18 rating!

Not a spoiler but I have got as far as 'Moondust' which must be the most boring episode I've ever watched.
