And when, just when will they ever get rid of Linda’s hideous culottes? I don’t know why they keep them in the wardrobe department, they are by far the worst thing she wears. I always mutter “not again” when they make an appearance.[/quote]
Those culottes are dire.

Builders sadly often encounter dead bodies, be it something buried long ago or a person who passed away unmourned in their own home.
The moment the unique stench of death became apparent that floor would have been excavated.
But this is EE. Watch the police find no fingerprint evidence whatever despite the 6 having 2 hands each, 10 fingers each and not a glove between them.
DNA on the tape that was bitten from the role.
The rug from the Queen Vic. etc
Rumour has it that Dean will be framed for the murder, but I honestly cannot see how that could happen...

One thing I didn’t understand was how Rapey Dean could access the charity money. Wasn’t it in the cystic fibrosis charity account? Is he a signatory to that?

Sharon arrested! Oh my!
Did anyone else think Jade sounded really blokey tonight? She can go to NY as far as I’m concerned.
And Kathy still has the flipping meat thermometer! You live near the Thames, love! How difficult is it?
And when Eve was talking to Suki about it being Nish, did no one on the writing team remember he was on the floor of the Vic and then in a coma for a few weeks?

It amused me that Rapey Dean could set up a new recipient and transfer money without getting any calls from the on line banking service to confirm his actions. Assuming the account with the charity money was in the name of his daughter, then he would have been stopped in his tracks...
Not sure the police had enough to arrest Sharon. The body has just been found and IDd. Yes they have the message Keanu left his sister but it is hardly grounds for murder is it? More likely they would have brought her in for questioning, saving the arrest part until they had had a full statement from her.
As for the meat thermometer - it will be appearing in the end credits at this rate! Just get rid of it!
Knowing the dopey 6 it will be put in a small public bin attached to a lamp-post outside the Vic.
But not fully "in" so it falls out as is picked up by little Albie....in full view of CCTV.

In EE, whenever they put something incriminating in a bin, they always just throw it on top of the other rubbish. They NEVER burrow into the bin to hide it. It is then immediately found. I have lost track of how often this happens, 😂😂.
The meat thermometer should get an award for best newcomer. If they need to hide it anywhere, I would have thought a kitchen utensil drawer might cause less attention than your handbag.
I am surprised Jade is so keen to go to Pakistan. I would think she would live a more restricted life with family over there. Her mother had a complete character change when she went as a young woman!

This is when you REALLY wish Harry Hill's TV Burp was still on....
Couple of googly eyes on the thermometer and a little sparkly dress* and it could pose on the red carpet for the Soap Awards...
* or culottes

Harry would have had a field day with the body being moved around the square by The Six last Christmas.
The Benny Hill music would have been involved.

Well of course he made the knitted character from EE into a star! That was one of my favourite Burp features.

Well of course he made the knitted character from EE into a star! That was one of my favourite Burp features. And there was a scandal! The knitted character was actually crocheted. Soaps do not have plots like that. Back to EE. The woman playing Bernie was very believable I thought in her response to learning the body was her brother.

So.... The Meat Thermometer is on the move again...at this rate its next starring role will be a baton at the Paris Olympic relay races.
Considering the load of prints on everything (as we have previously discussed) how on earth are the Gang of 6 going to frame anyone else?

Whilst I don’t want to deny The Meat Thermometer an acting career, I do wish they would just get rid of the bloody thing. The canal, the river, a dumpster away from the area. Yet these doughnuts can’t manage to do anything except pass it between them. Dean is going to get framed then, but what connection can they make to convince the police he is their man. Oh look, he’s got a meat thermometer is hardly compelling. And as for his daughter sitting in a bath of baked beans, isn’t that all a bit 1980s? Do they ever do that these days?
Although I hate Rapey Dean, I don’t think this plot is doing anything for The Six characters.

Even if they succeed and somehow he gets found guilty and jailed, it just means that the writers can resurrect the whole plot whenever they fancy...
Dean demands a retrial.
Is granted an appeal.
Gets released on bail and comes looking for revenge etc.
Meanwhile, lovely George wins Restraint Of The Month for not pasting his awful foster dad all over the gym walls...
