According to ITV's Soap Queen, (an impartial lady paid to talk about Soaps who strangely mentions EE less than she used to when she wrote for it) EastEnders have tried many times over the years to lure Michelle Fowler back but with no success. I wonder that they haven't recast her. They recast Martin a few times, and Peter and Lucy and Lauren. And Johnny. And Sam, then back again. But Michelle seems immune. Well, she was one of the original main characters, and aside from Mark Fowler (who was written out early on and didn't really become significant until he returned as Todd Carty), I don't think any of them have ever been recast. I think they're regarded as untouchable.

Question about Billy and Honey. Is it possible that the school can actually exclude Janet or are they saying that she can legally stay but will not get the extra support she needs to keep up? I was confused as the meeting just focused on Billy screwing up his face and having a strop. To me the teacher did not make the position at all clear either. It would have been helpful for someone to suggest ringing the Down's Syndrome Association for advice or look up their website, give that a call out.

If she's in a Local Authority school, I think they have to provide support. She's as legally entitled to an education as any other child.

I've been wondering something more irrelevant about Billy and Honey. Did he ever put their flat on a legal footing, or are they technically still squatting? I can't even remember who owns it now, but I think he moved in when Lola came to live with him. Or maybe the girlfriend he'd been in care with, who had his seekrit baby (Lola's...dad? Or mum. Whichever.)

Good point. I do not think we have ever seen that corrected and I haven't a clue who owns it. Details! What are they in E20!!

According to Wiki EastEnders Residences < isn't it fab that people compile this gubbins ? > ...the whole house , N° 89 < basement flat is 89c > was purchased in 2008 by Ian Beale and there doesn't seem to have been any change recorded since then* , although the flats have had many occupants . Previous occupants of the basement include Steve Elliott , Beppe di Marco , Billy , Janine , Little Mo . Here's the house-by-house guide en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:WikiProject_EastEnders/List_of_residences_in_EastEnders* I Don't know about this - I'm sure Ian has been near bankruptcy since 2008 .

This is unbelievable. Firstly that there is a webpage listing all the properties as you say. Secondly that Ian owns a property worth goodness knows how much in the London property market yet had to think about selling his business to keep Bobby in school! And thirdly that Ian has an asset from which he is not collecting an income. So either someone in EE has forgotten about this, or the web page has omitted something like Ian selling the property. I think the former more likely.

{Spoiler}Like others, I am sure it will be a case of mistaken identity with Ben, and it is Paul who is dead.

Well I wondered about their closeness the other episode. Honey consulting Jack, making a drink for mini-Jack etc.. Have they ever had anything to do with each other in the past or is this just another manufactured friendship?

How many does he have exactly? The little boy who died, James? Penny in France. Amy. Mini-me by Sam.
Any more?
