Oh goody. I never used to watch this but got drawn in during the last series. I am looking forward to it.

I preferred it in the early series when they weren't ripping off Agatha Christie quite so blatantly!

That's kinda what I like about it. Nothing too taxing.

It is nice to see sunshine and blue seas in January, for sure, but the stories are very formulaic. I liked Ben Miller in the main role, though I couldn't stand Camille, so was glad when she departed to islands new.

I shall look forward to it too! Sunshine to brighten up the cold dark days of January, Harry the lizard (hopefully) and even the murders aren't too dark.

Gosh, lucky you! Though I think it's a bit hot most of the time for the actors who are (cough) working.
It will be nice to see this after all the nasty real-life murders we've been treated to lately.

Yes, Harry is the star of this, isn't he! More of that, please. Daft plot but no surprises there.
Humphrey is a curious character – they have to develop him I suppose, to prevent it getting stale, but he is no longer the fish out of water from the early days, blundering around upsetting everyone but with flashes of brilliance. Instead he seems a regular copper who is shy and socially inept, but essentially nice and well liked as well as professionally respected. As a result it's even slushier than it was. I do like Martha though and hope she turns out to be just what she seems.

Such a relaxing hour. I just look at the pretty scenery and try to remember what the guests stars have been in before.

Great viewing as expected. Nice plot, although I had worked out the death did not occur on the Volcano.
Humphrey shaking hands with Martha was classic!!!
I have always been puzzled as to why this is shown at 9pm - surely it is ideal Sunday evening family viewing? The 8pm slot beckons, imo. Yes, there are deaths, but so sanitized they are unlikely to scare the children - who would, of course, LOVE Harry.
