I assumed the watch had been altered/sabotaged. The reality was rather more elaborate (and silly!). Very entertaining as usual, though.

More lovely, sunny, nonsense last night.
I did wonder, as Humphrey was telling the killer lady how it happened, why they didn't fingerprint the dish washer when they found the knife.
If they'd done that, they would have found the victim's prints on the buttons.

I guessed he had been stabbed elsewhere, because they did that trick in Jonathan Creek once!

The fact that he'd been stabbed in the colon made it very very unlikely he could have done any of that. My eyes rolled so hard I was almost looking at the top of my head.

I kept thinking there would be a tie in with the deceased and the death, years earlier, of the wife of one of the staff.
But it was not to be.
Quite how Humphrey could not work out that what he saw was a "dead man walking" is beyond me.
But its great fun! And the scenery is to die for.

The only reason I watch it is cos it makes me feel warmer.

And they had some great music last night. Cheered me up.

For all it's about murder, DiP is basically little more than light entertainment, and to be honest (and to its credit) I don't think it has any real pretensions to more.

Gosh, they really are scraping the barrel with the plots, aren't they. I guess the episode that's set in London will be Humphrey following Martha. Hope they stay together, if only so we don't see even more of him moping around.

Apart from all the plot issues........ where was Harry? I am always disappointed when he doesn't feature!

Perhaps Harry can't swim?!

Well I didn't think he would be taken on the romantic getaway, but there were brief scenes at the shack and he could have made a cameo appearance!!!!!

But its great fun! And the scenery is to die for. Is it ever. It quite perks up a miserable winter evening.

The latest episode was amiably entertaining, as usual. A couple of decent twists, and it was nice to see more of the Commissioner, who is probably my favourite character. That ending with the motorbike chase was just plain (or plane!) daft. I'm not sure about an episode in London - the Caribbean setting is one of the key charms of the series. Hopefully they'll solve the biggest mystery of all: whatever happened to Harry?!
