Really shocked that they killed off Joy. However, if Alexandra Roache wants to leave, it's a great way to show how dangerous the job is. I have to admit to shedding a tear. I really do get involved with the characters in this. I don't think I've seen Viv cry before, not even at the end of Series 1. Will be very interested to see how the rest of the series unfolds.

Well, this is getting good! The relationship between Viv and her boss is getting more layered, which is good.

It is good...but this second episode seemed a bit OTT to me with so much going on. Honestly Viv, who stands at a window overlooking the street wearing only a towel, never mind then letting go of it?

Right, caught up now.
It is a bit full on, isn't it? And I wish they hadn't called the group Albion cos in my head that's a football team! And calling the leader Caddy didn't help as I hear it as 'The Caddy' which makes me think he's the mole even though I know it's his girlfriend Becky!
I'm enjoying it though. Especially now a lot of the extraneous stuff has been cleared away and we know who the real villain is.

I just watched Series 3 Eps1-5 in one go. Spoiler - don’t read on if not up to date.........
Just as good as the others, although the excess of villains is confusing and, to an extent, a similar plot to the Bodyguard. (Angry Vets, IEDs, standoff’s etc) I was surprised that they got rid of Patrick Baladi so quickly, before we even knew much about the character. I have the feeling a lot of that was cut out post production.....or did I miss something earlier about the lavish income, gay lifestyle etc?
For me though, this series is not so much about the storylines as the characters, especially the forensic guy, who seems to be far too “present” given that Forensics is a totally separate agency these days with service level agreements etc. But the framing of the Caddy sister.......oooh!
Why is it down on 4OD as a Comedy? Is it because all the plots are so preposterous.....
.....or are they?
