I thought Maria was going to get shot as she's announced she's pregnant. I did so want the police to tell the shooter "come down" and for him to use the slide on the helter smelter! Sarah thanking Gary? So do they not know that Gary was the reason he was shooting in the first place?

So Gary comes out as the big hero. I wish to goodness he had been 'dispatched'. Loathsome character. Horrible Christmas episode on the whole

I did change it once but auto correct must have changed it again for a second time! Apparently Maria... finds out that Gary was the reason for the man getting angry and going on a rampage, everyone finds out and turns against him. Maria thinks they're all being harsh and Gary is a hero! Is she stupid? You can't be the hero if you caused the carnage in the first place.

Still rolling along nicely at the moment, enough intrigue to keep wondering what happens next.
And l will admit a little sniff when David said Shona will be ok.

So Tim's dad still being manipulative, not clear on his motive, but surely she is not that gullible, how will this conclude? And Shona opens her eyes, rolling in her head, have read that the actress is now on maternity leave so {SPOILER:Click to Show}She is packed off to a nursing home shortly

This Geoff and Yasmeen stuff is now getting really nasty,l can see her killing him or something.
Manipulate hardly covers it.

I really don't like the Yasmeen and Geoff storyline. It's me making really uncomfortable. This is an intelligent and highly capable woman, surely she would realise what he's doing to her.

I would like to know why Tim's mother divorced him. I bet it's something of the same thing he is doing to Yasmeen. Much as I detest Gary...I can't help wishing he could 'dispatch' him in some way (as he has done before)

Episode 10,000 tonight.
A lot happens in an hour long special.

Emotional episode tonight. Not sure what Ken meant by 80 years too late. Perhaps when he should have left the street to go travelling?

Episode 10,000 tonight. A lot happens in an hour long special. Not a lot happens in the usual two episodes stuck together, IMO.

Best two episodes I have seen for a long time. Loved the way the opening seconds were identical to the very first episode( the children bouncing the ball on the corner sop wall)

From what l read,Ken makes the move to the retirement home, and Norris is already a resident.
So it looks as though Coronation St is expanding again to new areas.

Can you imagine the havoc Ken, Claudia and Norris will make in the retirement home
