IMO, the comic was the most deserving of a Golden Buzzer out of the three that have received that accolade this series.. Last week's was obviously a pitch for the sympathy vote >yuck< In fact, this week I had almost set my face against the young pianist from the get-go because we were getting so much of his back-story! Why, oh why, do the BGT producers do this - time wasted that could be used to show more acts. Let every contestant be judged purely on their merit, their talent, not where and how they were brought up or what-have-you...

I always FFd through those bits so never get the sob-story. But the comedian was very funny!

I agree, I don't care about the sob storis I just want it judged on talent. I thought A&D were going to use their buzzer for the pianist but I think they're going to show a golden buzzer each week so there's Walliams and A&D to go. Walliams usually chooses a daft opitions for comedy value but on the live shows it's a wasted opitions.

I liked Harry (?) singing for his gran. I don't usually like 'sob stories' but it was a lovely song and he sang it well and played piano so fair play. The student dancers were amazing, so young and so talented. I can't believe they put through the impressionist. He was awful. I did start to laugh at how bad the impressions were but he shouldn't have gone through. Hopefully he'll be weeded out in the next round, but they do usually put a few dodgy acts through so on the semi-finals night there's at least 2or3 that don't stand a chance a middle pack who are good but won't win, maybe their acts is to niche and then 2or3 clear favourites.

In the main show this year there seem to be less silly rubbish novelty acts and more concentration on the good ones.
The Scottish dancers on More Talent were full of energy.
At this stage ,still can't see a winner, and there are still a few golden buzzers to be used.
Liking this series, but then like them all.

The only ones who deserved to go through were the blue Russian contortionists IMHO, everything else was very mediocre. Didn't like the pianist bloke, if you took away the Gran sentiment of the song he wasn't a very good pianist or singer for that matter. And what's with putting that black giant through ? Der ? Bit woeful last night, not up to the previous two weeks standards at all !

Those blue contortionists were breathtaking.
I always wait for the semi's and see what is new these people have to offer. Sometimes they sink like a damp squib as they are one trick ponies...so to speak.

I tried writing a song about my gran. The only words that rhymed with the word that I truly think of her is switch and ditch, which would kind of give away my medium term plans.
Edit: Oh, there's a glitch.
No doubt, for next time out, Harry has a little cousin being bullied at school. He'll keep 'em coming.

I'm just watching BGT and Will Oldfield, the comedian doing The Chase joke has been on TV before. I thought I recognised him, he was on the BBC2 show where 3 people become the boss/manager and the workers have to decide on who gets the job. And after he appeared on that he appeared on another talent, it was either BGT last year or XFactor.

This is the only show where l find myself talking to the tv,"he was good, that was funny, golden buzzer..."
I might seek help.
Anyway, the silly magician, the Newcastle singer and the Welsh girl choir were top this week, but again another good show.

I think the beauty of this programme compared to other types is the variety of the acts that appear. Until they open their mouths you never know what the heck is coming. I love it I also love the totally bonkers follow up with Stephen Mulhern
