When's it on Horace? I quite like watching Talking Pictures late at night, but I do like the older, 50/60/70s Brit movies.

Thanks, I'll try and catch it and see what it's like... 8-9pms a bit primetime though, I'm usually recording something on some channel but we'll see. ☺

A chance tonight to see Helen Mirren at the dawn of her career, in 'Age of Consent' (10.50 pm - 01.00 am). With an idyllic Great Barrier Reef island setting, the film features James Mason (with a decidedly dodgy Aussie accent) as an ageing artist and Helen Mirren as a local girl who becomes his model.
Helen was only 22 when it was filmed, and was already a striking actress. When I saw the movie years ago Helen had several scenes in which she was completely nude (except perhaps for snorkel and flippers), but these caused quite a fuss and in many countries the film was shown with them cut out. As tonight's Talking Pictures airing has only a 12 rating I'm guessing it'll be the censored version.

There is a bit where I shouted "NO!" at the screen.....it is a brilliant little b/w chiller.
