I've seen the film and the first series (with Martin Freeman), then tried the second series (with Kirsten Dunst), but couldn't get into it, so didn't follow the rest. After the positive comments on here about the fourth series, and being a fan of Jessie Buckley (I so wanted her to win the ALW programme she was in!), I thought I'd give it a try. I enjoyed the first episode and look forward to watching the rest.

I'm four episodes in and it's good, don't get me wrong. But it's not very Fargo. The weird humour is missing. But as an historical drama series, it's brilliant.

I’m finding this distinctly underwhelming, I’m afraid. I shall stick with it in case it perks up.
Is it me or is Chris Rock’s weight fluctuating a lot between scenes? Sometimes his face looks really puffy, other times very slender. Or it could be the fact that half the time I can barely see what is going on.

I’ve changed my mind about sticking with it and have abandoned ship. I started watching Sunday’s episode yesterday and realised I couldn’t care less about any of it!

I go along with you on that, marion. The first episode was great, but after that is seemed to flag a bit.

I haven't watched yet – too busy with The Killing which is quite lengthy, and I still have Innocent and The Pact to catch up with! Why are good series/serials like buses?
