Unfortunately, I have to say tonight’s episode was the worst I can recall. Sheldon going behind Amy’s back to force a sabbatical on her was not amusing in any sense. Penny snarking at Leonard’s lame little joke seemed like another pointer to cracks in their marriage, after last week’s baby conflict - which, now I think on it, featured Leonard going behind Penny’s back to her parents. Also not funny.

I didn't think it was the worst one but it wasn't great. TBF, I don't think they played Sheldon's actions for laughs. At least I hope not. But I agree about Penny and Leonard. There does seem to be less affection and more snark in this series.

The best bits were between Howard and Bernadette and Sheldon and Professor Proton - although I laughed at Leonard crying in the Planetarium.

Disagree. Sheldon' reaction to being asked if his work continued that of another scientist. No words, just a LOT of facial tics.
Picking Bernadette for the paintball team "she's deadly and she can hide behind a mushroom".
Stuarts flight or flight reaction....

It was the paintball thing I thought was really disappointing because they've done that before and this time it wasn't a lot different from the first.
Sheldon's reaction was predictable, as was Bernadette and Howard.
I enjoyed watching the repeats of previous episodes that were on before it more than the new one.

Wonderful final episode. Plenty of laughs and Sheldon's lovely acceptance speech at the Nobel ceremony.

Yeah, I agree. A great final episode. I have to admit that Sheldon's speech brought a tear to my eye.

It was a nice send off. Good to see the “Previously on BBT...” to see how they’ve all changed. Appropriately, I think the first time I ever saw an entire series recap like that was on Buffy. Cute cameo for SMG.
Anyone have any thoughts now on the “best ever” episode/scenes? I have two: Howard and the robot hand, and Sheldon and Amy’s first date (with Penny as chaperone).

Sheldon and Amy's wedding is one of my favourite episodes. It all came together perfectly and was so funny and so touching.

Just got round to watching the last episode - I'd been putting it off. Great ending and loved Sheldon's speech at the end. My favourite episode was Amy and Sheldon's wedding too.
