Was it only me who thought it inappropriate for Noel to be hiding inside a freezer, do the programme makers not know how dangerous that can be?

Sorry to see Flo leave - she was a real character. Some of the bread show stoppers were incredible. The handbag, toadstool and picnic basket were outstanding.

Must admit as a child of the 60s that was my first thought too..... Yes I thought of that at first. I can remember being yelled at by my Mother when approaching an old fridge which had been dumped! But then didn't they change the law/regulations regarding doors so you can't be trapped? Or is that just in industrial walk-in fridges. I never understand in dramas why people walk into these things or down cellar steps etc without securely propping the door open first!

Marion, I think an entire generation were scarred into wedging doors open carefully etc by those safety adverts from the 60s.....
The Daily (Hate) Mail has not picked up on this yet but they will as soon as the work experience graduate has finished trawling through Mumsnet for some sort of story that gives the show a kicking....

It's the baking disasters that are so wonderful. That dachshund......... But it is nice when people share the failures along with the triumphs. I missed the dachshund. When was that on?

The Dachshund disaster was on Extra Slice kabuki! You should be able to find it on Ch4 catch up.

I know if I ever tried baking anything to a specific shape it would make the Dashund disaster look like fine art!

Was stopped in the supermarket this morning and asked by a mum with 4 children in tow what Minnie Mouse looked like - one of them had asked for a Minnie Mouse cake. Shame I wont get to see how it turns out.

I liked Mel and Sue - I like Sandi and love Noel. I liked Mary and quite liked Paul - I like Prue and still quite like Paul. As for the contestants the producers have again found people who are the real stars (apart from Noel ) of the programme so it's much of a muchness for me apart from the fact it carries on into Dr Foster. A bit of twiddling and it all comes out alright.

Yet again the best programme of the night was An Extra Slice. Very funny. Don't usually like Jonathon Ross,, but he continually took the p*ss out of Paul Hollywood, (as did Jo Brand), which went well with me. PH did take it all in good part (ish) You could tell he wanted to snarl like Muttley! Having the previous Star Baker (Bread) on was good. They could put all the home photos on the website. Maybe they do, I haven't looked. Good old Flo rapping. I bet her nights out with the girls are a riot.
