The start with a wife having to decide that they didn't need to continue to resus her husband as he could be brain damaged was sad, but sensible. It showed how much a paramedic's job affects them. Addicts that don't want treatment, well don't get me started! The time that the paramedics spent could have condemned another case to death. I know it's sad that people are addicted, but it's not really the ambulance crewe's role to treat them. The lady who didn't want to go back to hospital. (How often did I come about that in intermediate care?) They take up hours of persuasion, and then end up in hospital anyway. Most of the cases they went to on the street, (and the husband and wife who couldn't cope) should have been picked up by social services. The trouble is that funding for social services should be increased instead of decreased.

It's a new area, isn't it? Greater Manchester.

All the bee tattoos, are those because of the terriorist attack a couple of years ago?

The Bee tattoo. is a symbol of Manchester apparently, and after the terrorist attack, Ariana Grande got the tattoo

Oh my lord, that toddler! Honestly toddlers get themselves into so much trouble. My nephew drank Radox at a similar age. Luckily it wasn't too much as it tasted horrible and he spat most of it out. But his poor grandmother nearly had a heart attack!

I've had dextrose gel. It's bloody horrible!
TBH, when I heard her speaking I thought 'She sounds like me on a hypo'. It's amazing how low blood sugar interferes with the signals between your brain and your mouth.

Still well made and gripping programme. You really get to care what happens in the end, baby is fine, dog and owner reunited, l assume the girl pictured at the end was the road incident victim.

Great programme again with lots of positive endings. I worried about the dog all the way through.

This weeks show featured a hellish shift for the staff, 140 patients waiting to be seen and possibly admitted to the hospital. Wonder what the local MPs think, if they care.

It was a repeat from last series, I think.

And next week ,series 3 episode 8,which does not seem to have been shown before. Series 4,episode 4 is now shown as being scheduled for 2 weeks time.

I think it may have been a last minute change. For some reason they have only shown 3 episodes of S4. It being in the W. Mids tipped me off that it was a repeat as the latest series is in Manchester.
