Holy carambas.... I'm just watching it now and they've gone on lockdown. I hope the grenade thing is not true.

There seems to be a lot more focus on the call handlers in this run, shows the pressure and abuse they get, though a lot must be cut out.

I couldn't do the call handlers job, its terrifying when someone says they are going to harm themselves so to have to deal with that daily would leave me traumatised. I'd also get fed up with the abuse and probably answer back. We have a statement to give callers who are abusive "You are displaying unreasonable behaviour and I will now terminate this call" I forgot to say this and just hung up on the person who started the call with "stop being a ******** jobsworth and issue the ********* food voucher" - he had just informed me he got £900 but wanted a food bank voucher despite the food bank saying no more. I don't think ambulance call handlers are allowed to hang up on callers.

Just watching this week's and Win was lovely! And looking pretty fit for 103! As soon as they listed the symptoms I thought 'UTI'. Glad that it was and not what he thought. Learnt a lot since my Dad got one!
That poor car driver though. How does someone even begin to deal with that?

The little girl who wants to be a butterfly when she grows up. Could she have been any more adorable?

I know! I reckon there's a bit of jealously between those sisters. And being the elder sister of a very cute child myself, I know how she feels!

New series,last night,now in London.
It follows the usual pattern, now seem to be more violent episodes, focusing on stabbings,in particular.
Personally, the back stories of staff,is getting a bit too much,as if they have not got a story to tell, then they dont get featured.
Someone moving from Dorset to London is hardly news.
Still it is what is,and it still does what it says on the tin.

Practical joker staged a hanging and his partner cut him down calls the ambulance and then ends up with a head wound. He said he fell on a grenade so then armed police turn up. I wonder if she hit him but police said they could see his skull. Respect to these people I could never do that job.

Did she hit him for pretending to hang himself? Cos if so, I don't blame her!

They never said but by the time the police turned up, as they do for a suspect hanging, he had a head injury. They gave him anonymity on the show but he was wearing a big bandage in the ambulance
