Just watched the skating, having avoided all sports broadcasts for once so it was a surprise. Great stuff!

Lordy me..... It's wonderful that our Ice Dancers have qualified for the Free Dance tomorrow. Fantastic. But there was really no need to put them in the commentary box afterwards. And really no need to keep going on and on and on about their injuries. We really don't need to hear it discussed 3 times. Can we please get Robin back in the box?

I love the figure skating but how on earth does one find out when it’s being shown ?

I love the figure skating but how does one find out exactly when it’s being shown ? It's says starting from 1am on Tues 20th, so in the very early hours of the morning. I might stay up tonight and watch this.☺

But where did you find that written as it must vary each day surely ? From the BBC website. www.bbc.co.uk/sport/winter-olympics/schedule/2018-02-20 There's also a link on the first page. Dates are at the top of the page running from left to right and you just scroll round to the date you want, it'll then say what events are taking place on that date and also if it's a medal event. I think you can also just look for specific events.

I just caught Jayne Torville talking and they showed J&C skating to the rumba, they were magical.

Highlights are shown during the day, often repeated. We tend to have the TV on in the background and pay attention when it is an event we like.
IF Elisa is able to skate in the heats tomorrow I think she will be on at 10am...

Woah! Unfortunate wardrobe malfunction for that poor French woman! She was lucky not to be completely exposed in the spinning lift.
I agree about our skaters in the commentary box. He wasn't too bad but she was pretty chronic.... reminded me of Nic Grundy from The Archers.

Unfortunately commentators seem to think they need to "commentate" continuously, even when they're just repeating themselves or commenting on absolutely nothing.
