For those of us who have gone back to the 80s.
Quite sad about Hilda.

I'd also forgotten just how much Jack and Vera shout at each other!

I think Mavis is brilliant, she is funny without trying. Her scenes with Derek are real gems.Rita and Mavis are just as good together. Why is there nothing like it in the Street now.

She does make me roll my eyes though. I keep shouting 'he's using you! He's a totally self-centred, arrogant git! Dump him!'

I love the whole Mavis / Derek / Rita thing. Mavis' horror at being cited in his divorce, and Rita suitably scathing about Derek.

In the here and now the Norris/Mary Norris/Rita relationships are funny but sadly they don’t use them enough.

Thanks for the explanation Miranda. It makes sense now I'm watching toady's recordings - the symbols in the menu are different to the ones I've seen to the one I haven't. So I can safely and easily delete the ones I don't need to see again.
Now watching today's two. Alan Bradley seemed a very nice character at first didn't he!

Just loving it - all the little things you don't see or hear now - the formal addressing of Percy as Mr Sugden from Curly or Hilda as Mrs O from Sally , and Bet's cigarette holder!
I remember being referred to as Mrs C in our local video rental shop back then. I rather liked it!

The things he threatened to do to Martin Platt weren't pleasant. I usually record the morning ones well just in case something happens to my afternoon recordings.

I've obviously missed those scenes coming to it when I have. Enjoying Hilda's farewell.

I missed Stan! I wish I'd started watching it a bit earlier.

And the other thing I totally miss, is how slow the credits are - you actually get to see who played who!

Just being able to see them at all is a bonus! They are normally squished to the corner while they show you what's next.

Absolutely! I knew I missed it, but hadn't realised just how much!
