That's no surprise. It was going to be either him or Mo Farah.

I usually set up the next week's recordings on a Friday afternoon so decided as well to peruse the Olympic schedule and see what I can watch without losing sleep. I feel as though I have just sat an exam there is so much coverage! But I do hate it when the time difference means stuff is on until 4.00. I think I will miss most of the swimming. Ditto the athletics but I don't care about that really. Some cycling is on late too. I hope that doesn't include the race where they all chase after the pizza delivery bike. I love that one.

Are they not repeating a lot of stuff during our daytime?

There seems to be a highlights show from 9.15-1.00 daily on BBC2 and a daily round up on BBC1 for half an hour in the evening, timing varies. But I think if I try to keep up with it all I shall spend too long watching TV. The Games also clash with work being done on my kitchen so it will be pretty noisy to stay in and watch during the week. I may have to forego the swimming. Never mind.

All I managed to see of the Athens games, living in Shanghai at the time, was pretty much basketball. Time zones are weird things. The Brazilian Grand Prix is always on a Monday! gaah

Good thought. I had a quick look at three days and there are some RB highlights. All through the morning, and then more in the evening from around 6.00. But no fixed time and no fixed channel. We shall have to stay vigilant!

Love watching the olympics, along with athletics in general it is the only sport that I watch. I was going to start a thread under BBC so that I could praise/criticise the coverage but now that I've found this thread I can do it here! The opening ceremony is on too late for me so I will catch up on iplayer tomorrow......

Well so far, I'm really impressed by the Opening Ceremony. It looks really good on a small budget. The lighting is amazing! And the weaving together of those long strips is just incredible. Oh oh.... the Conquistadors....
