I didn't know that! I am loving these little programmes. They make me smile and the photography of the countryside is beautiful. When Jarvis Cocker was famously arrested for storming the stage during Michael Jackson's performance of Earth Song at the Brits in 96, Bob was one of many who went to the police station as support. Once there he identified himself as "Mr Cocker's lawyer" and was able to provide legal assistance!

I saw the first couple of these, and put the rest on to series record. But since my Virgin box has gone kaputt, I've lost them all. I'll have to see if I can watch them on Catch Up when I get my new box next. week. I loved what I'd seen and assume it has carried on in a similar vein.

Is it a new series? I hope so but even if it's a repeat of last year's I will watch it again. It was nice, gentle feel-good television: just what we need.

Yes, it's a new series. 🙂 I can't believe it's been a whole year since the first one aired - thought it was much less than that!

I didn't watch this the first time round as I thought it sounded dreadful. Reading about series 2 I decided to look for series 1 on iplayer, found it and watched episode 1 which I thought was a delight. 2 days later I went back to start watching the rest and it had vanished! Anyway, I shall watch the second series and hope series 1 comes back!

A delight is a good description of it marion. I get desperate for anything to watch in the summer so I only began watching series one because there was nothing else and was immediately (pun intended here hooked!

I wish they hadn't changed the time though. Wasn't it on at 10pm before? Now it clashes with other stuff.

I hope it does Marion, because then you'll have 5 absolute treats to look forward to After the series ended it was on I-Player for 6 months, don't know why so much longer than usual, I watched it several times over the winter, my 'cheer-up' programme!

I really enjoyed series 1 too so look forward to this. I had always liked Paul Whitehouse but wasn't sure about Bob Mortimer but this series definitely put me into the like camp
