Another lovely episode. The trip to the cosmetic surgery centre was hilarious.
And what a catch towards the end! The sheer joy these two demonstrate warms the viewer.

I do so love Bob's joy and excitement when he catches something. It's infectious.

Those fish they caught looked ginormous.

Another great episode. Loved the banter and the scenery. What a fish!! So beautiful, glad they threw it back.
I almost cried with laughter at their play acting at the end, when Paul pretended to be jealous because Bob had caught a fish.

Another great programme. Brilliant telly. Hope they don't change a single thing about it.

Great one from Scotland ("Trossachs!") - lovely scenery and Bob's Heart Healthy breakfasts. Not to mention the golf and Bob's nice chat with the gentleman fisher who had been diagnosed with cancer and described fishing as "tonic". The 'Salmon dance' to bless the boat...

The nice man Bob spoke to has died since the programme was filmed: there was a tribute to him in the closing credits. I don't think I have ever seen Bob being serious before.
What utterly beautiful scenery....and I would love to stay in that white "castle".

The man did say that the cancer was terminal but clearly agreed to be filmed to put across his love of fishing and what enjoyment it was still giving him.
The white tower was impressive indeed!

Yes, a great episode and lovely to see the dedication at the end. All the accommodation looks lovely but that castle beat them all into a cocked hat!

He has told the stories about the fire and the spoonsful of sugar on Would I Lie to You and made them sound so implausible that you think it can't possibly be true....it's the way he tells them!
