"You'll wonder where the yellow went when you brush your teeth with Pepsodent". Now if you remember that one like me you are ancient lol. I remember it well!

I remember the Nescafe story line of the neighbours getting on rather well, and there was this will they / won't they? storyline goine on. But they came out as a series of ads. I also remember the first ad which made a series of maybe three ads, all of which were shown (separately) in the same ad slot. It was for Heineken and featured a Maori (I think) throwing a boomerang which didn't come back. I can't remember the second one - probably him drink a pint of the stuff, and then the third where he gets hit on the back of the head by said boomerang!

I used to love the Smash adverts with the little Martians. Also the first Coca Cola advert with everybody singing 'I'd like to teach the world to sing'

I remember that one too. They sound very much like Pinky & Perky (that remark really dates me!).

I really didn't like the soft mint advert.

I really didn't like the soft mint advert. Ditto. Nor do I like soft mints. They're not mints, they're insubstantial chewing gum!
