I can’t believe it! Also, I read once that… {SPOILER:Click to Show}He is the highest paid actor in the BBC. Which I find amazing but apparently it’s true. Or perhaps was. Anyway he is 75 so don’t blame him for retiring. I’ve heard that, it was explained that it was because he was one of the few actors employed directly by the BBC rather than by the company making the program. It only applies to a few actors, most are employed by separate companies that the BBC uses to produce its programmes. He’s well past retirement age so good on him!

Well I just had a mooch in Google and apparently the pay bracket is £350-399k!!!! And he is barely in it now compared to his hey day. So I hope he has put aside enough for a comfortable retirement, 😂😂.
I have thought for ages that he moves and speaks stiffly, quite awkward in fact. My search revealed that he has dystonia which affects your muscles.

I've been wondering if any of you know what happened about Charlie's brain aneurysm. I remember it being diagnosed in an episode, but don't remember if he had any treatment or not and if he had treatment I'd love to know what it was.

I just watched the 75th anniversary of the NHS edition and it was well done.
However what always gets my goat is the reception. I know of nowhere in the country that has an open reception all around and doctors and nurses walking through past patients.
Your first glimpse of a nurse is when they creak open a door and shout your name and even then it can be an hour before you see a doctor. As to the reception, for decades they've been closed and behind reinforced glass.

I did too, there was nothing on the private lives of the staff and it was all about the treatment of the patients.

You surely aren’t expecting continuity are you? 😂😂😂

Ew, Max and Donna at it on his desk! I hope he gives that a good wipe down before seeing anyone in his office. How can he do that with the hypocrite Donna? She and Faith really tick me off!
