Yes we had Elizabeth with depression, she had some counselling sessions, also some years ago Mike Tucker I think. There was also Greg the gamekeeper who committed suicide, though I don’t remember if there was a depression story before. Could also probably include Will after Nic died, but that was a very understandable situation.

Mike Tucker and Greg were 'before my (Archers listener) time', Dippergirl, but it's nice to know I recalled something correctly (re Elizabeth)
Will became somewhat deranged with grief, didn't he? Nearly took a shotgun to himself... Still can't take to that character, though, no matter what hardships he's faced

Did anyone else think it odd that an MP, in the middle of a fun run, would listen at length to 2 randoms who could be anyone about Jawgee’s problems in the slammer? I expected her to direct them to her surgery. And instead of giving her his mobile number, Ed gave her the business number, which presumably Emma can answer. And yet he doesn’t want to tell Emma the true situation. Is George in with hard nut adult inmates, or is he in a segregated but for young offenders which is just housed in an adult prison? I can’t remember what they said now.

He’s in an adult prison but in a wing for young offenders I think.

Kirsty’s mother is being played by Susan Twist. Isn’t that the mysterious woman who was in every episode of the last Doctor Who series?

I think so, yes. I thought the MP who needed the tree surgery was the Lee actor until I realised it was the woman accosted at the fun run by Ed and Will!
Badly handled by Ed - never lie to your wife, she'll always find out ...
And Justin - why lie to Kirsty's mum when it's obvious he'll be found out! I thought she was going to be a scammer of some sort initially, but she really had lost her phone etc.

I'm not entirely sure how local MPs conduct their business these days, maybe they do interrupt certain activities to give a constituent priority? (or maybe only at election time )
What a hoot, Justin unknowingly giving a lift to Kirsty's stranded mum and being indirectly mentioned by her in the process. She won't be quite so grateful to him once she discovers who he really is....

I thought the MP sounded like Paul!

Yes, of course, Paul. That's who I meant! I wonder. He's gone a bit quiet, hasn't he?

Actually, we've not heard from Alistair or Der-Knees either, have they created a love-nest at Jim's now?
I wasn't sure whether the MP was male or female at first, going just by the voice - have forgotten what Paul sounds like...
At least Fallon's surprise leaving bash is out of the way now >zzzzz<

Don’t tempt Fate, Mal! A Der Knees free zone is fine by me, 😂😂.

They all go silent for a while when it's not their week to record, but the cast is really very large now and they are having to use only a few at a time Thankfully, in some cases!
Fallon actually sounded pleased about her surprise party, which makes a change! And Natasha was surprisingly gracious, unlike Tom. I wonder what the emergency is that Harrison had to do to – are they going to kill him off, perhaps? Or injure him at least?

I wondered if Fallon was beginning to regret her decision. Nocasha running the tea room? What, she will be doing all the baking as well, will she? I can’t stand her.

I never liked her much either - far too pushy and strident! Stepping up her role at the tea room might knock some of the stuffing out of her, though; it's like she doesn't realise how much she's offered to take on...
Ooh, I never considered any of that ... do you reckon there's more trouble ahead for that couple, what with Fallon about to embark on her new venture??
