Does that trainee policewoman ever change her shirt?

I thought it was a slightly different blue shirt over a tee combination she was wearing today. 😀
Another case solved in one shift.
Is every murder going to have a tenuous link to Bradford’s wife, so they can dribble out more info?

Paul Marquess, that accounts for it!

I find it quite ridiculous that in a place the size of London, every case involves someone who knows the missing wife. Really? It wouldn't work in Midsommer where about 12 people live in each village!

Just finished watching the second one and don't think I'll bother with the rest.

I'd rather have a repeat of an early series of Impossible.

It has enough that's believable about it to let me suspend disbelief and enjoy it. Recording it gives me something to watch in the evenings this week when there's precious little else worth watching.

Just catching up and noticed Eleanor got out of the lift in the multi storey car park on level 16. Isn't that a bit tall for a car park?

Oh, I don't know. A local one I use has 10, and this isn't exactly a great metropolis. (Also it has half-levels, so as in the programme the lift floor goes up in 2s but there's only half that number of storeys).
I'm enjoying it, though so far I don't think it's quite as good as Suspects, being somehow more bland.
This Amber, who found the body in episode 1, keeps popping up. On Tuesday she appeared to be wearing the watch which was missing from Monday's victim's effects, and now it seems she was the one who left the DI's wife's handbag at a party, having somehow acquired it. Hmmm. She looks a wrong un, from her eyes! It's a good job that handbag's bright red - would anyone have noticed if it had been a nondescript grey?

Yesterday's killer was identified towards the end of the programme by DNA taken from lipstick on his forehead, left by a kiss. Up until that point, various pieces of evidence had been mentioned but I didn't remember hearing anything about lipstick on his forehead until it turned out to be the vital clue.

Someone (Vivian, I think) mentioned the lipstick when they first examined the body. It contributed to the impression that he had been carefully tucked into bed. It was mentioned again when they said it was a different shade to the one worn by the woman he was having the affair with.
Amber is obviously up to no good. But I really don’t get why Billie wouldn’t say it was Amber with the bag. Loyalty to someone you just met and fancy? No sense.

Ah, thanks. I obviously missed taking in that bit!
As for Amber and Billie: Amber asked her to go for a drink in episode two. Then at the end of the day as Billie was leaving the office she asked Viv and Rob if they were coming for a drink and they both said no. She looked a bit put out and then left. I do wonder if she did go out with Amber, maybe even spent the night with her which I am sure is a sackable offence for a police officer. She certainly lent her money which I thought at the time was questionable. And how did Amber get hold of £40 to pay Billie back? I somehow think the trainee detective is heading for a fall.
