Thanks for that. Never saw it the first time around, so will catch up next week.

I am binge watching series 1 tonight whilst nursing a bottle of red. It occurred to me that the emptiness of London is as if it were under lockdown....

I want to live in that London rather than this one. Lovely homes, beautiful weather, no crowds and did you see the size of the Inspector's office? I reckon you would have to be Cressida Dick to get that much floor space.

London has no crowds at the moment! 😀😀
Looks like they’re finally getting suspicious of David.

Just working out who was who here, and what they might have done, as I chose not to rewatch series 1, possibly a mistake. Still, enjoyed this first episode of series 2

I’m a bit concerned that the Met apparently has only 4 detectives. No wonder crime rates are so high. They could probably afford to pay a 5th if they moved out of those big, empty offices and parked a portakabin in the car park.

The size of their office space is just hilarious, isn't it? I did read this is filmed with hand held cameras so maybe they need all that room to manoeuvre.

So who do we think this woman is? I reckon she is in witness protection, which is always my first guess!

Yeah, something like witness protection. She's in hiding for some reason. Possibly an illegal immigrant, though come to think of it her accent sounds perfectly British. Anyway, definitely not David's bit on the side, that's far too obvious.

The very end of episode 4 - well that was an unexpected twist!

It took me a bit to recognise the villain formerly known as EE’s Michael Moon.
Looking forward to the conclusion tomorrow.

Gosh I'm enjoying this! I knew I knew that chap but could not place him at all. Looking very sharp I thought. I loved Michael Moon and Janine together. Only Dean let the side down here I felt.
What a finale. I was sure David was going to jump. Then I actually hid behind the Radio Times because I thought Rob was going to get shot in the face, although probably not on daytime TV. But I didnt see that final twist. Roll on tomorrow!

So we discover that it’s EE reunion day! And Abi was a bad, bad girl.
The solving of the mystery was a little anticlimactic, but I’m glad that for once it didn’t turn out to be about violence against women.
And nicely set up for a new series. I wonder if they’ll revisit Vivienne’s suspicions about Rob and David?
