Kyrgios' arrogance will be his eventual downfall which is a shame because if he had a coach and spent less time messing about on and off court he could be up there with the greats. He's his own worst enemy and it's not as though there's a charm about his antics as with Ilie Nastase.
His underarm serves are just childish.

Can the umpire call the match to a halt? He shouldn't have to take this much abuse. If I were him, I'd give Kyrgios a caution every time he opened his mouth.

I think he has to call in the Tournament Referee. And he should do so IMHO.

I have a feeling deep in the pit of my stomach that Kyrgios might just pull this off. And with that feeling comes a line from Funny Girl when Florenz Ziegfeld got his own way over her singing the finale in his show. She replied ....
"You win. But you don't win fair."
And that's how I'd feel if Kyrgios won.
I think the rules should be changed because Kyrgios is taking the rules to the wire .... underarm serves, body shots. All legal, all according to the rule book, but no one else uses them as they are unsportsman like.

Now, see, if Kyrgios played like this all the time, he'd have a lot more fans. He's a good player. He plays unpredictable shots rather than just bashing it off the baseline constantly. It's entertaining stuff. Just a shame he doesn't realise it himself.
