I'm just watching the Ireland v Japan game now. 70 mins in. It's beena great game so far. The crowd, especially, are brilliant. And both teams are playing some great rugby.
One of the Japanese players need bigger shorts. They've ridden up so far he's beginning to look like a sumo wrestler.....

Absolutely cracking game! I'm an Ireland supporter but I'm so pleased for Japan.
Am I right in thinking it's only the top two teams in each group that go through?

Yes, and many are hoping that Japan goes through. Last time, they became the first country in World Cup history, to win three games and not qualify for the later stages. It would be really sad if it happened again.

It's probably just me but I am getting seriously fed up with kickers taking foreeeeeeeever to take penalty kicks. The rugby equivalent of Djokovic taking 84 bounces of the ball before a serve.
