Coverage of the 2019 World Championships starts tomorrow on BBC2 at 13.30, from Stuttgart. It's on every day through Sunday, and the RT says it is Live. Times vary each day but it is always afternoon coverage. Oh dear, more of a backlog now!

I don't mind her.
Watching on delay, some poor Chinese lass just came off the bars twice. I don't think much of the way the coaches stand so close to the bars these days, but just when hers could have been a bit of use he was nowhere to be seen. The second fall could have been very nasty but she seemed OK.
The trouble with the team event is so much is happening you don't get to see all of our team. They didn't show any of our floor exercises.

I am always amazed at the concentration of the athletes considering so much going on all at once.
A girl might be on the balance beam ready to perform a very tricky element whilst 10 meters away on one side a Taylor Swift song is blaring full volume for a floor exercise performance and then huge applause comes from the crowd on the other side when another athlete finishes her bars routine.
I've seen professional golfers bent over a putt stop and regroup when the cheers from another hole half a mile away were lightly heard in the background.
