Laurence Fox (Lewis) and Kate Fleetwood (Harlots) have joined the cast of ITV’s royal drama Victoria for its eight episode third series, which has now started filming for a premiere later this year.

Victoria's sister Feodora and her brother Carl weren't mysterious, they all lived together here in London and then she married and moved back to Germany as did her brother, and they met when they could after that, maintaining a life long correspondence. She was well enough known at the time and there are books written about her.

Half siblings! I had to Google this as I couldn't see why a son was not first in line.

Well they have completely changed Feodora's character and she never had to escape a revolution leaving her children behind. The two got on very well and also with their brother Carl. I think one of his sons was in the Royal Navy.
Louise Phillipe did come here, he came with his wife and they were given a comfortable house in the country where they lived until they died , he was always grateful and was looked after.

I had never heard of Feodora (nor Carl) but did she stay here permanently or go back to the German prince and her children? Or did they join her here?
I liked Lord Palmerston. "I am an asset to any gathering". Must remember to use that, lol.

She regularly came to visit and had a royal allowance for visits. She never had to flee, her family were always welcome and she was close to Victoria, one of the few people that called Victoria by her family name Drina and had known her all her life. There were never any scandals or complaints about Feodora, she was popular.
