If you like Scotch eggs then I highly recommend the M&S runny yolk ones. You heat them in the oven for 12 mins - crispy crumbs, slightly peppery moist sausage, firm egg white & runny yolks. They are fab. Some of the Simply Food stores do them. They are in the Gastropub range in a blue box. Deffo worth the calories.

NickBrighton, your dinners always sound scrummy, can I come to live at your house? I am quiet and clean in my habits and would happily dog/cat/goldfish sit (or small humans at a push), lol
Just been to Oundle Food Festival so have a beautiful pork pie, some smoked goats cheese and a really strong 3 year old Lincolnshire poacher cheese to have tonight with tomatoes, pickles etc. All washed down with a glass or two of something cold.

Just had a small peanut Cornetto. Oh my, they are nice. I love those peanut butter Cornetto's .. yum yum The nicest Cornetto I ever had was lemon and chocolate, in Spain. I was horrified to discover they don't sell them in Britain. Now that we're Brexit-ing, I suppose they never will. Today I will mostly be eating a Steak & Cheese sub from Subway.

I just had a proper ramen -- not the cup-a-soup variety. I like it when the weather gets a bit colder. It really heats you up.

Home-made pizza (well, sort of, the base is ready-made and the tomato topping is from a jar), topped with tuna, olives, red pepper on one half, pepperoni for the boy. Husband will go spicy tonight!
