That looks pretty good for what you want. My TV is 32 inch and I watch it from 8ft away and it's plenty big enough. I would recommend getting a soundbar though. It will make a huge difference to what you hear.

Any suggestions (clean ones!).

OK.
I think I will order the TV and see what the sound is like. Can always get a soundbar later.
I'm so confused about all this. Does it plug into the back of the TV with a cable?
It comes to something when they manufacture TVs and the sound isn't good enough.
There was nothing wrong with the sound on my old Bush TV.

It's because they are flat. The old boxy TVs used to act like a sound chamber with all that air inside them. And now the soundwaves are compressed in some way that I don't really understand and so the sound quality is rubbish. The picture quality is better but unfortunately you can't have both.

I can't see why they can't build them with some speakers on the side. These days they can be quite slim, but then again what do I know?! So much for Prime 'next day'. Coming on Wednesday. Hopefully I can get it up and running for my Jessica Fletcher marathon on Saturday!

This is the back of my TV. Please excuse the dust! The yellow, red and white plugs on the right, with the black plug underneath, are for the soundbar. The sockets on the TV are colour co-ordinated to match so you can't mix them up. The black one is the power. To the left of that is the Chromecast which has its own plug. It just sits there quietly working away and, once it's set up, you don't need to bother with it. I never use the other sockets but they are there if I need to.

Oh, the stand is quite sturdy and integral so I didn't have to do up all those screws!

I am acquainted with the red, yellow, and white!
Don't worry about the dust. You wouldn't believe the state of the top of the chest of drawers when I removed all the toot from the top of it yesterday!

..32 inch should be ideal for a bedroom......and I find the sound of flat tvs perfectly adequate...smarts not important....you can always buy an Amazon stick later if you want.

It is ruddy huge!

A 32 inch is quite big. Imagine if you'd chosen a 50!

Oh, don't.
If I had, half of it would be in the hall outside, I think!
Remote doesn't seem to have an EPG button, which is a bit annoying.
