There is a button labelled HOME, which I will give a try later on.

Isn't there a user guide or leaflet showing what each button does on the remote? If not I bet you could google it.

So often these days, new phones come with no instructions - I presume manufacturers are making the assumption (wrongly IMO) that people know how these things will work. NOT helpful.

There is, but a quick glance showed that I would need superhuman eyesight to read it. The type is tiny!

So often these days, new phones come with no instructions - I presume manufacturers are making the assumption (wrongly IMO) that people know how these things will work. NOT helpful. I couldn't get the back off the mobile to put the battery in. All the manual (I use the term loosely!) showed was a picture of the phone with the back off, but not how to get it off. |

I managed in the end, and have made a call, and had a few text chats with my friend, Pat.
It is a little non-friendly, compared to my old one, but since I don't want to do fabulous things with it, it will suffice.
