Clive Myrie was host tonight & the consensus is that his CV is upto date as he’s not likely to be interviewing any politician soon. Was very funny though.

Watched the extended version of this on Monday. I haven't giggled so much for quite a while – Bill Bailey is the perfect host! Of course it has been a very newsworthy week in terms of satire, so they all had much to get their teeth into.

Bill always makes his point quietly and subtly, but well. Sometimes these days I find the panellists a bit too sledgehammer to crack a nut.

I don't think there is a thread for the current series. Anyone see Friday's episode with Amol Rajan as guest host? I thought he was great, and it was lovely to see him helpless with laughter at Paul who was on top form. Andrea Leadsom was awful but Miles Jupp was also very funny.

I bet Jenkyns has sacked whoever advised her to go on. Well the constituents sacked her at the election, so £5,000 for an appearance is better than a poke in the eye etc. She hasn't even got a slot on GB News to fall back on. |
