That was an improvement on last week but no way can I see any humour in this. I think moments like Alice blurting out "I'm Alice and I'm an alcoholic" at the bereavement councelling meeting are what are supposed to be funny but to anyone who has needed bereavement councelling something like that is just crass. It could put off those that need it whereas it is no exaggeration to say that it probably saved my life.

I agree, it’s a drama, but I haven’t laughed at all. I’m not considering it to be a comedy

Then she complains about him to the man that goes after her. So she can say what she likes and no one is allowed to criticise? And the second man agrees with her? SMH.

I bailed. Couldn't be bothered to find out what happened as there wasn't one character that I thought was credible.

On again tonight, that week went fast! But can I be bothered, I ask myself? Maybe they might introduce a character who is at least a little bit likeable... no I don't suppose they will

I'm going to watch the final two episodes, possibly today, just to see how much more ridiculous it gets. After the Pottery programme and WWTBAM, both so enjoyable, I don't want my Sunday night happy mood suddenly dragged down any longer

I've seen the whole thing. After finding it ridiculous, it did grow on me, mainly because I came to see Alice as a woman acting out of grief rather than selfishness. The actor playing George is really very good, I'm sure we will see more of him.
On a side note, the second (and best, IMO) series of Line of Duty, with Keeley Hawes' star turn as Linsday Denton, is being shown on Saturday evenings on BBC2. Not sure why but perhaps it's paving the way for the new series that was in production when lockdown put it on hold last year.

Yes, the way they have written it, a second season is a distinct possibility. I will NOT be watching.

We are sticking with it just to see how daft it gets. Who sells a fitted kitchen, which technically you do not own, especially on a part payment basis to a creep? I know it's trying to convey the reaction to grief in different ways but such oddities are, well, odd. Are the police still interested?

I was just wondering why on earth she hadn’t contacted a lawyer, when she said to her father “You’re a lawyer “!!! So she has legal representation on tap. How bonkers can this get?

I will stick with it for the final two episodes if only because I have invested my time in watching the other four but it doesn't improve does it?

I may be mistaken but I think I heard somewhere that a possible second series was being muted!!!!!!!!! It's you lot all sticking with it to the end! Makes ITV think it's more popular than it is. Abandon ship before it's too late!
