One question about watching on the ITV Hub, on my IPad.... this is only the second time I've tried, both times I've had trouble with the sound
Yesterday I finally managed to get it working for Finding Alice, then with 3 minutes to go I was back to reading the sub-titles..
Nothing wrong on any other site.... was it just me?

I didn't have any problem. I might have been more willing to give up on it if I had.

The thing is, though it is indeed very silly, I just have to find out what happens in the end...

The sperm donated was to make a clone and he's not dead at all. Why are we trying to find Alice anyway? We know where she is surely.

It was the writers who were looking for Alice. They had no idea who she was, where she had been, and where she was going; and that's the problem. They had no idea.

I don’t understand why he had his sperm frozen. I assumed at first there was another woman in his life because there was no sense in the story (I could end the sentence here really!) that he and Alice wanted another child, had tried unsuccessfully or that he had cancer and needed chemo etc. I can’t think many people do that without a compelling reason, such as when women freeze their eggs because of the biological clock.

I may be mistaken but I think I heard somewhere that a possible second series was being muted!!!!!!!!! It's you lot all sticking with it to the end! Makes ITV think it's more popular than it is. Abandon ship before it's too late! Oh no, I bailed after the third episode. There wasn't a character who I care about. I'm just following the comments.

I thought he was a sperm donor who was paid to freeze his sperm. Isn't that why George exists? If Alice wants to use some of his frozen sperm won't she have to pay for it .... using money she hasn't got or maybe money from the kitchen she's just sold...? It really gets sillier and sillier.

Oh, no - I bet the sperm is in the freezer she's sold to John Snape from Corrie! He'll think its yogurt, throw a Grief Councelling Party to show off his new kitchen and the Morgue attendant will choke to death and Alice will put him in the grave in her garden and the police will have to find her - hence the title. Obvious now.

Wasn't it just that he had a vasectomy (someone - the daughter? - said that I think), but before doing so had some sperm frozen as an insurance against changing his mind afterwards?

Well that makes sense (so in this show it can’t be the right answer 😂😂) and I just don’t remember reference to a vasectomy.

After reading all these comments, I'm glad I gave up after episode two. Didn't like any of the characters anyway. Just like to come on here and read what everybody thinks of it.

Saw a trailer for the next episode last night ... words to the effect that Charlotte becomes puzzled by Alice's latest scheme. Don't we all?

I fell asleep about halfway through the episode last night, woke up near to the end .... and realised I wasn't in the least bit bothered to have missed a chunk so switched off and went to bed. Sums it up for me really!
