Splendid return of this top show. Sadly Glasgow's English geography was wanting to say the least.

Highlight of the evening. Surprised nobody got Boll Weevil. Maybe none of them ever worked on the cottonfields.

Geography never seems to be a strong subject on UC. I must admit I was feeling a bit sniffy about the Glasgow team's attempts at naming the university towns (I got them all except Surrey) until I realised that I would be equally bad at placing Scottish towns on a blank map.

I'd have a better go at placing Scottish towns on a map then they did with English ones. Wouldn't get them all, but if it was Scottish Unis I'd do reasonably well.
Yes, UK geography always catches them out and it's always in so I don't know why they don't nominate someone to swot rivers, national parks and lakes etc.
It was funny watching them put large coastal towns inland, though.

So Edinburgh look to be the team setting the standard so far. Very impressive.
I did feel a bit sorry for Ms Hart (right end) from Peterhouse. Such a woebegone face.

It was but considering that, Edinburgh didn't get a massive score. There must have been a lot of unanswered questions on the cutting room floor.
