Before anyone asks,and some have noticed,Lumix has left the forum,and appears to have removed some improvements put in over the past week or so.
So no blue up-down button ,until we can find the way to restore it.
There was a spoiler alert on the smiley box,that has gone as well.
There maybe a few other things ,that l am not aware of.

Yep, the improvements were plugins so available to restore sometime.

Lumix was a good member.He put a lot of work into improving this forum and sadly,Miranda sacked him as admin.
He has now left and taken his improvements with him.
I am privy to what has taken place and as a friend of Lumix' I have no alternative but to leave too.
I am very sorry to do this because I really enjoyed my time here.
Thanks to all who replied to my posts.So long guys.

No we do not,just one of those things,we go back as the forum was when it was set up,and then add some improvements, as and when. There are 80 or so members here,it will be fine,whatever we end up with is a helleva lot better than on the old BBC messageboard. |

Actually, I didn't sack him at all. He chose to leave because he couldn't have his own way. I've been out since 1pm and only just got back so was not here when he deleted his membership.
Althea, I know that you are friends with him on the graphics forum but you have only heard his side. There has been two days of correspondance between him and me on this subject. It's not a case of me arbitrarely sacking him. I am not Edie.
As for his work on the forum, well, he has now removed it all in his fit of pique. So we are back where we started and none the worse for it.
Please tell Lumix I wish him well in his future plans but we will be fine.

It's not scary at all, Sleepy. Everything is fine. People are people and will chose to come and go. Plenty of people chose to come and go on the BBC Board but you couldn't tell cos there was no big scary DELETED under their name. I will have to find a way to change that.......  |
