Sorry Miranda  I think you've replied to a post I deleted because I thought I was confusing things  and now I have... I meant the BBC board could be scary/fraught....
I'm going to lie down for a minute till my fingers type more sensibly

Look, everyone, let's not make a big conspiracy theory out of this. Lumix wanted to do things to the board that I didn't agree with. He didn't like me telling me no, we had a two day discussion, he threatened to leave if he didn't get his own way, I told him it was his choice, he left. Taking his ball with him. That's all that happened.
Nothing is going to happen to this board because of me. I love having this board. I didn't want to lose you all. So that's why I spend so many hours on it and work hard on it and why I try to keep all the crap off the board.

Can't see the point in washing dirty font sizes in public. What's done is done.
If needs be, just ask people if there is any particular aspect of using the forum pages that they think could be improved. If there's more than one "complaint" or suggestion then have a look at fixing it. If it's just one person, a PM asking them to persevere for a bit and see if they get used to it would probably suffice.
The forum is going well, no sense in looking for trouble.

Your personal smilies box is now back under Profile > Edit Profile > Settings. You will need to add the smilies back in though. You can have up to 25.

I'd really like to have that button for a list of all the new posts if it's possible. I found that an interesting feature, and used it a lot.

That's on my list to put back. Along with the scroll button. I've also just found a plugin that restricts anyone from editing their posts after 5 mins. A lot of forums use that one so I'll grab that as well. Anyone think of anything else while I'm doing this?
