I am going to see it through just to see how it ends
Julie Walters' accent is fun ..sometimes it's Irish, sometime it isn't

I have been watching it, but didn't bother last night. I feel like it should be good but somehow it doesn't work for me. I suppose I will stick with it having come this far.

All I would like to know is, what are the weird round things on the kitchen wall? Some sort of pull down cooker hoods? They're quite unsightly.

Yes! They've been bothering me too. The house is horrible, sterile like their relationship I think (the 'den' is nice though, with a capacious sofa to accommodate Paul!). I wonder if it's a real house inside.

No need for a different one. I wonder if we will get a satisfactory conclusion to this drama, or will we be left wondering?

I have a feeling we will be left wondering to herald a second series

I will never quite see Hagrid in the same way again.

He may have been found not guilty by the court, but it would seem his wife thought otherwise.

She knew he'd done it when Carl lied.

I am non-plussed by this series and really don't care to be honest.
That was very much my opinon also and the reason I gave up after episode one. It was populated by a series of very unlikable characters about whom I had no interest.

I found it very unconvincing that Marie would suddenly sleep with Carl after 40 years, and being faithful to Paul throughout the marriage, and having deep religious convictions. If she did it to secure his testimony, well she should have kept her powder dry until after he appeared in court.
I was surprised by the ending as I had believed him! I thought he was a sleazebag but not a rapist. I was suspicious of both the manager and Carl though, felt they were both a bit sleazy as well.
