And that poor Italian who had seen her twin stretchered off had to put up with him! How he didn’t pick up that she was upset and not interested in his antics I don’t know.
Well, along with my fave gymnastics, it seems that the BBC have become very keen on my other fave, diving! Hurrah. They just showed the mixed team event on BBC2 from 1.00 and we won bronze! Hurrah. I did not realise how much more difficult it is to be diving outside but they went into this at length in the coverage. So hopefully they will cover all the rest: there is something on every day until Sunday, 👍. The afternoon presenter (is it Jeanette? I like her, much better than the newbie we got for Wimbledon) said Tonya is there all week so 🤞.

Second multiple crash of the day in the cycling. I blame that stupid track. Not only is it too cramped, apparently it has poor quality boards compared to the usual polished spruce we see, and it is boarded across the direction of travel, unusually.

We have enjoyed dipping in and out of the coverage but are more interested in Clare Balding who appears to have gone for a 'pink rinse' in her hair. That, or something is very wrong with our TV!!! I think Rebecca Adlington’s hair looks a bit pink tonight, and she is usually quite a yellow blonde! So I reckon it’s the studio lights. Maybe they’re experimenting, 😄. |

That spectacular photo someone took as well, of the diver in front of the view but no sign of the board or pool. It was glorious.

Is it a trick of the light or are our athletes wearing a lilac strip? I mean I don’t mind as at least I can make them out! And it says Great Britain in large capitals as well. Normally we never have anything really big (like the flag) which indicates who we are. Maybe it’s just my eyesight…..
Oh someone has just popped up wearing a completely different vest! So no continuity in our team then…

Im glad they’ve gone back to the pizza delivery guy in the Keirin, rather than the frozen yoghurt vibe we had in the Olympics.
