Patrick has been away for weeks and Yolanda has been left on her own in charge of a teenager. Now he is back barely a day and he is moaning because he can’t have enough alone time with her! The cheek of it. Mind you I be raging if the slimy Pastor muscled his way into my family meal!
I had forgotten Jay slept with Nadine. At first he just used to pay for sleeping next to her after Lola’s death but then they did have a night of passion.
Why is Jade still in the Square? Why hasn’t Shabnam been told what’s going on and arranged for her daughter to join her in Pakistan?

Presumably Jade's mother is on the way?
If George wants to hit someone can he please take aim at the oily Pastor?
Patrick is on to him already and someone needs to step in.

I still do not understand why Yolande continues with the same group and works alone with the Pastor. If he had groped me then no way would I work alone with him. But then he seems to have completely belittled her after she tried to make the point about him touching her so she has no confidence left. The way he has manipulated her is a bit culty isn’t it? Yet Yolande was never a shrinking violet was she? When she removed his hand from her leg and told him off and he denied ever acting inappropriately, I was surprised she didn’t ask him where he thought she had taken his hand from!!! Followed by “and you think it is appropriate to touch my thigh, do you Pastor?”.

I think her beliefs means she is enraptured by any man of faith so she does not react the way she would if any other man groped her.

We have an hour long episode tonight and I think that Yolande's situation will be the focus. Along with 10 years anniversary of Lucy's death.

Bloody hell, that was a distressing watch!
We’ve just got rid of Rapey Dean and now we have got the Rapey Pastor, in fact the Even Rapier Pastor. What a deviant he is! Those other women, some very interesting points of view there from the too old for people to believe me to not being a compelling witness. My blood was BOILING by the end, because most women have experienced something at some point in their lives. So poor Yolande was his sixth victim. And I liked the way they wrote her expressing her physical modesty, and showed a group of older women as his victims. Well not liked liked, but it was an unusual victim profile and very poignant I thought. I welled up when that lady asked “aren’t I compelling?”.
Beautifully acted, and even Elaine was good. She was a lot better with Yolande than with Linda, especially when she told her to confess to Dean she had lied. What a mother!
I hope that FINALLY Yolande won’t be going back to that church.

That, imo, was more realistic and heartbreaking than the antics of The Six. The scenes of the past behaviour of the Pastor were very well presented and I raged when the senior person in the church told one victim "he is being moved to another Parish". As though that solves everything. Terrific writing and acting tonight. This ground breaking case in Scotland shows how a "pattern of behaviour" can be sufficient to land a conviction when there are no witnesses. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moorov_v_HM_Advocate

Well to be fair, most plot lines are more convincing than The Six, 😂😂😂😂 Especially from the moment the body was taken out of the pub.
What Church is the Pastor supposed to belong to? I had rather imagined that it was a single establishment, not one with various parishes. A bit like that chap in Call The Midwife’s church.

Feel a bit sorry for the chap who is playing the part of the Pastor. Would not surprise me if little old ladies start hitting him with umbrellas in real life.
When he locked the kitchen door behind him I was shouting at Yolande to pick up a knife....

I was shouting SCREAM! because they were only behind a serving hatch I think. Indeed, where is a meat thermometer when you need one?

I was shouting too. SHOUT! SCREAM! So many people just the other side of that door. What an episode! Was chuffed to bits to see Sue Sullivan from Brookside

I suppose the general hubbub from the bake sale might have drowned out any cries for help, but the moment she heard the lock click she should have picked up something sharp and held it in front of her. IF he came close enough to be stabbed he would need to explain why he was within 6 inches of a member of his flock.
But coward that he is he would have unlocked the door and fled.
But Yolande was in shock and had been manipulated into believing she had misread his hand on the knee.
We need Mrs George (forgotten her first name) to tell George on the quiet so he can use the Pastor as a punch bag.
In a dark alley.

Oh God, Sonia is pregnant. We will never get rid of bloody Reiss now, ☹️.
I wasn’t that impressed by the marathon scenes although it was probably quite a technical achievement.
And Yolande!!!! Surely to goodness they are not to write her going back to the church and the Rapey Pastor? That makes no sense whatsoever and, to my mind, actually presents a very poor storyline to rape victims. He refused to accept her decision!!! The Pastor!!! I mean how she didn’t lose her rag at that is beyond me. Elaine needs to have another word. How could you sit and listen to a sermon from someone who has done that to you? Oh, I’ve got a bit heated now! I need my fan!

It is a well written plot idea - Yolande v The Pastor. I wonder how it will end?
LOL when Whitney's wretched foster child took the smallest tumble from her bike and Whit's reaction was
"phone an ambulance!"
No wonder the NHS is so stretched.
