As I understand it, it is the same two leads but the rest of the cast are new as it's a new story.

The perfectly preserved remains of a middle aged man are found in a sealed suitcase in the silt of the River Lea in northeast London.
The man is identified as David Walker who disappeared in 1990, and left behind a wife, who has since remarried, and her son who is now in his early 30s.
Across six episodes, Cassie and Sunny encounter four unconnected people who they suspect are linked in some way to the victim.
