I'm wondering if they are all guilty of murdering each other's abuser and that's why Cassie said there are more bodies. Ken the owner of the house in Brentford is dead, Marion's father is dead. Could they have covered for each other, hence the all-too-perfect alibis?
Either that or Tessa killed David, having found out about the parties.
Really superb acting all round. Stand-out scenes for me this week were Colin learning he didn't commit rape years ago after all (up there with his interview scene in Line of Duty) and Tessa being confronted with evidence she couldn't deny – the way her expression changed was masterful. I'm not sure though if it was realisation she'd been caught out, or realisation of what had been going on in the Brentford house – it appears it was she who gave Ellen a lift home but that in itself doesn't make her David's murderer.
Surely Colin won't now give Tyler the £20k? What would be the point as he must realise it's all going to come out anyway? Sara's headship application presumably can't proceed and I wonder if she can continue teaching in the same school. I do hope she is reunited with her father and that something good comes out of this for her. Marion's job is on the line as well as her marriage. I'm disappointed in Tessa's husband (though if she is in fact the murderer then he will have been right to take his daughter away).

Good thinking!!! I like that idea.
I thought the scene when Colin was told he hadn't committed rape was very well done, in fact I welled up the more upset he got over something which had had so much impact on his life. He just conveyed so much emotion, brilliant.

Yes, both those were stand-out scenes. I nearly cried with Colin when he realised he hadn't assaulted the girl.

Yes, I thought that too....and that scene in Line of Duty is one of my all-time great TV moments. Mark Bonnar really is an excellent actor but then so are Nicola Walker et al in this series.

Best thing on the box without doubt at the moment, the writing is superb and the acting sublime! So many damaged lives, so much pain, it's heartbreaking to see it all unfold but you can't take your eyes off it! Loved the moments in the pub last thing, you just wanted to say go on!!!!!!!!!!!!

Can't wait for the finale.
I will record it though to linger over, as I'm sure it's going to be complicated.

Me too. I have them all recorded and have been reminding myself of elements of the plot ahead of the finale. There's a lot of discussion over on the DS thread which is interesting too.

Well that was excellent, I was riveted for the whole hour. Cassie made the right decision made at the end.

I agree. I was in pieces when Colin was telling her about the effects of the abuse. And yes, I agree it was the right decision.

The best possible outcome for a terrible and sad case. Cassie was right, their whole lives have been one never-ending punishment.
I do hope there will be another series.

Yes, excellent all round - casting, acting, storyline. Positively gripping. The way it ended, I think the viewer was left to decide for themselves whether the 3 relationships would hold out under the weight of knowledge the partners (all of them sympathetic) now had. David's wife was maybe the biggest loser in terms of her future - job no longer tenable, relationship broken - but it was great to feel Jason could have a more positive life ahead. Some closure for Cassie's dad was good to see too.
