Well, tin hat on, but I didn’t like the ending… sorry! It was fine dramatically but they perverted the course of justice after all. I don’t know why on earth he admitted murder. Well I do of course understand from the plot but it seemed rather incongruous to me that he would do that. And why did he when no one had told him that a witness had said he did it, unless I zoned out and missed that bit. Also, what happened about Ebele’s battered husband. He was a victim of domestic abuse so is that just OK? I was left feeling quite ambivalent about it all. I didn't like the ending much either (from what I can remember of it! - I binged the series some time ago). I didn't think justice had been properly served.
I did enjoy the series though, and I like Sinead Keenan - I think she makes a good successor to Nicola Walker.
