I suppose I am warming to her, but starting from a sub zero base that doesn’t amount to much! I think she is just so miserable, and appears almost completely uninterested in the case. Really the enthusiasm levels in her work are close to zero. And if she is so bored, the danger is the audience will be too.

I wouldn't call her bored but distracted by what's happening in her private life. I personally think she is better off without the rat she is married to and as for the sister  . I feel very sorry for Jess and can understand how full concentration on work must be very hard in the circumstances. I'm glad she has confided in Sunny at last. |

I am so glad they know each other's private worries now. I loved Sunny's "you win!". Showing his kind humour at the same time as compassion.

I think they are both very distracted and not top of their game. The rest of the team are carrying them at the moment.

Yes, I did  I wish they hadn’t taken 4 episodes to get their working relationship sorted out, means a lot crammed into just 2 hours Looking forward to seeing the finale, and I would be pleased to see another series with an unchanged cast |

I watched Monday's episode but am waiting for next Monday to see the ending as I like to have something good to look forward to. I'm not sure if my attention wandered during the last episode but I think I got a bit lost. {SPOILER:Click to Show}So..."Joseph" isn't Joseph at all but his younger half brother Jay, I got that. Did the police know that already because at the start of the interview before he made that revelation, Sunny addressed him as Jay? I thought maybe that was his nickname and the way he preferred to be addressed so it threw me when he said that he was a completely different person and his name was Jay. Is Lord Hulme his father and was he also Precious's father? In the earlier series didn't Sunny have children with his ex-wife - two daughters I think? Why aren't they ever mentioned now? |

I thought the cult leader was Joseph's father so if he was also Jay's that would make them full brothers. Jay definitely said he was Joseph's half brother.

Hume, giving him a black eye the way he did. I thought that if incest was involved it explains why Hume is hot-footing it to Switzerland. I really must try and make time to watch that episode again before Monday! |
