What a load of old tosh, you couldn't make it up.......................oh hang on............. someone did. Any reviewer wanting to be really unkind could make the observation that the writers had a good laugh at Nikki's expense in this last ep of this series. Because she spent most of the final hour acting in the immediate company of other planks of wood. gaah And they have the nerve to say it will be back again!

Ok, I'm confused. What did Jack mumble at the end about not having told Nikki about the air that she suddenly twigged which allowed her to break free? I couldn't decipher what either of them said that made her batter at the head of the box.

I couldn't decipher what either of them said that made her batter at the head of the box. I think the implication was that her air should have run out by that time, but as she was still alive there must have been fresh air entering the box.

This box business confused me as well. All it took was a few kicks. She had nearly all the episode to do this. What took her so long.
Wasn't my favourite episode.

I don't think they realised she could bash the end out of the box until after the air should have run out and she knew she wasn't underground. Jack had told her she would only have one go at getting out if she were underground and she was avoiding any movement to save the air. What I didn't understand was why she was in a box in the first place! As we now know it was that nurse Eva who drugged and kidnapped her, why would she not just tie her up in a deserted building. The box seems like an unnecessary cruelty to me.

The twenty-first series of BBC One’s long-running crime drama Silent Witness will premiere on Monday January 8th at 9pm. Oh god! They must have stumbled across Rick Stein and the crew making his Mexican series and he took pity and brought them back with him. Let's hope this series has all the fun- and laughter-filled moments of the previous one. We'll just have to make do with this until the BBC finally repents and brings back Bonekickers!

It was one of the the best threads on there. Far more entertaining than the actual programme!

A bump - as if needed - for tonight at 9.00. I was going to suggest making a book on how many minutes - or seconds! - will pass before the first unintentional laugh-out-loud moment. But I've just read the plot synopsis in Radio Times and it's already happened

I had been looking forward to this new series but could not successfully follow the last 3x 2 parters, probably because I need the subtitles totally however I could follow all the plot lines on last night's and tonight's so did follow it easily . Surprised no thread for this series found on a search. I'm always interested in life in Care Homes as I could end up in one,not a nice thought. I know it's fiction however it was good to see Clarissa playing a larger part than usual also Nikki seems to be recovering after coming to terms with Jack. Not much point in me saying more as no-one else appears to be watching.....just felt that S. W. needed a mention and wondered if Serena was played by a disabled actress but will leave a search for that for the morrow .........goodnight all.

Thanks Horace for your information,I appreciate that however didn't enjoy reading the merged thread with all the disparaging remarks . I can bet Miranda enjoyed the merger For various reasons I didn't see much of that last series Yes , Rosie Jones she did an excellent performance I feel like removing my post but I will not.....each to their own !
