These are only any good now when the plots are so outrageous that they are unintentionally funny.
They need some Sherlock 'pace', at least.

As usual very far fetched which always seems to happen with stories that contain an immigrant theme, I'll continue watching because I want to know how it pans out and hope for a decent ending.

In case you haven't noticed:
Silent Witness is on at the usual time tonight but part two of the story has been moved to 9pm on Wednesday this week to make way for a football match on Tuesday night.

Why is it I wish they should get these Silent Witness stories down to a New Tricks-length single episode - yet Endeavour, Vera and George Gently (is he ever coming back?!) stories could easily go on for twice as long as they do?

I'm afraid I reluctantly gave up on this and switched off which means I won't bother with the second part. A great shame, given it's the last in the series but it was so far fetched that I was bored.

I really can't be bothered with part two.
I have plenty of recorded stuff. Anyone else watching (well I'm recording it as it's on very late) the old series 'The Knock' on ITV3, I'd forgotten how good it was.

I think this series has taken us backwards in terms of quality! Last year (or was it the one before?) it improved so much, and received loads of favourable comments on the old board. Now it is just same old, same old, with Nikki being her usual annoying and fraught self. She seems to spend half her life on the verge of hysteria. I shall watch to see how it pans out tonight but the plot was,pretty ridiculous IMHO.

I too got rather bored with it all, especially long conversations in Spanish that were not subtitled. I don't speak Spanish so have no idea if I missed anything. I will watch part two tonight, just to see if the trailer for tonight is a spoiler or a red herring. Last night I watched the first half then got distracted, we will see if I make it to the end!
